Caroline originates from Ireland and now lives in a woodland village outside the city of Lincoln. A former police detective, she has worked in CID and specialised in roles dealing with vulnerable victims, high-risk victims of domestic abuse, and serious sexual offences. She now writes full time.

Her stand alone thriller Silent Victim reached No.1 in the Amazon charts in the UK, USA and Australia and was the winner of the Reader’s Favourite Awards in the psychological thriller category. It has been described as ‘brilliantly gripping and deliciously creepy’. The first in her Amy Winter series, Truth And Lies, is a New York Times bestseller and has been optioned for TV.

Caroline is the bestselling author of twenty-three books in ten years and has recently signed a major deal with Penguin Random House for her new crime thriller series, The Ice Angels, featuring Detective Elea Baker. The first book in the series is set for release in February 2026.
In addition to her writing career, Caroline is the founder of Brave The Page, an online course that helps aspiring authors write, finish, and publish their books. She has also recently expanded her platform with the launch of the Brave The Page writing app, offering even more tools and guidance for writers at every stage of their journey.
